Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (DeAWM) has hired two J.P. Morgan Private Bank veterans to open a new Dallas office, expanding its U.S. private banking and wealth management operations. The new private bank office in Dallas caters to ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families and institutions and marks DeAWM’s sixth city for private banking in the U.S. The firm also has private client services offices in 16 cities across the U.S., including existing offices in Texas.
Texas is an attractive market from a private banking perspective, because of strong demand for such services, says Tim White, managing partner of Kaye/Bassman International, a Dallas-based recruitment firm. “Clients that are in this market are being serviced by external entities,” White says. “A client that’s in Dallas might now be going to New York or London or Los Angeles or some other place to get that kind of customized lending done.”
